Abstract
Methods are described for the extraction of lipides and the simultaneous determination of total fatty acids, unsaturation, and lipide phosphorus in as little as 0.2 mg. of dry tissue. The levels of these constituents were found to be quite constant in batches of Earle's strain L tissue culture cells grown for 12–18 days under standard conditions.
