Abstract
Just mentioning the Communications Decency Act of 1996 (CDA) sends shivers through the spines of campus computer system managers and judicial officers alike. Most troublesome is the determination of what qualifies as "decent" and to what extent colleges and universities should protect students under 18 and other minors from accessing certain areas of the Internet and campus computer networks that contain adult material.
