Abstract
1. (1) A rapid colorimetric method is described for the determination of nonesterified fatty acids in 0.5 ml of plasma. 2. (2) Results obtained with the proposed method were in reasonable agreement with those obtained with an established titration method. 3. (3) Advantages and limitations of the method are discussed.
