Abstract

One of the cancer treatment modalities is drug combinations. Nonetheless, the combined effect can be equal to, less than, or greater than each drug alone, and an effect greater than either agent alone does not necessarily imply synergism. This study, therefore, evaluated the cytotoxic interaction of temozolomide and doxycycline co-treatment in the human glioblastoma U87 cell line.
