Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of vitrectomy for open eye injury with no light perception. Methods Twenty-four eyes of 24 cases with open eye traumatic with no light perception were collected. They underwent vitrectomy combind with silicone oil tamponade on 14 d after primary suture. All patients were followed up for 6-12 months. Results The retinal reattachment was in 19 cases, of which the vision was light perception in 4 cases, hand movement in 3 cases. Conclusion The clinical efficacy of vitrectomy in the treatment of open eye injury with no light perception is significant, it can improve patient’s vision.
