Abstract

Infra-red spectroscopic, kinetic, thermodynamic and technological methods have shown that the deactivation of residual unsaturation in polyolefines, as the potentially active centres for decay of macromolecules, produces considerable stabilization. It can be carried out with chemically active compounds such as organic isocyanates and their derivatives.
