Abstract

The impact of geographical disparities on social groups residing in a specific area greatly influences the cohesion of the community. The social customs, traditions, societal structure, values, festivals, celebrations, and daily activities of the inhabitants of that region are broadly influenced by these geographical variations. As a result, different social landscapes develop and evolve in each region due to the geographical features. This is because physical conditions on the ground start to change as they move from one place to another. Therefore, as a result of the interaction between humans and nature, developed social landscapes also change along with the natural environment, leading to changes in human settlement and their way of life in a particular area. As a result of modern development, significant changes are becoming evident in various aspects such as local communities, local cultural traditions, family structures, rural social systems, marriage customs, inheritance practices, and so on. Over centuries, not only has the region integrated into the mainstream of the nation's flow but also actively participated in the nation's development.
