Abstract

Abstract A new control plant for HL-2 M first plasma campaign is currently being developed and commissioned. The main components assembly will be accomplished in the end of 2019 and the first plasma campaign is expected in 2020. In order to achieve the stable, safe and efficient operations in the first plasma discharge, a reliable central control system (CCS) based on the experimental physics and industrial control system (EPICS) has been designed for HL-2 M, including a central timing and trigger system (CTS), a central interlock system (CIS) with a redundancy ring network sharing all the interlock status with the other interlock systems and a redesigned plasma control system (PCS) adopting a new software and hardware architectures. In this article the details architectures of each system and testing results will be described. At the same time, the recent design progresses and upgrade proposed of the CCS are shown.
