Abstract

This article provides an overview of the OhioLINK Digital Media Center (DMC), a statewide effort to provide access to a wide range of media resources, including a significant number of art and architecture resources. The article reviews the development and design of the Digital Media Center and provides a case study of the University of Cincinnati's efforts to contribute to the DMC. The article also outlines concerns and benefits of this consortial approach as well as addresses issues of collection development and e changing role of the librarian.
