Abstract
This research reaffirmed, through multiple dissections in bovine and human hearts, that the ventricular myocardium is made up of a set of muscle fibers twisted on themselves resembling a rope (rope model), flattened laterally, which by making two spiral turns, it defines a helicoid that delimits the two ventricles and shapes their functionality.[1,2] This development led us for a long time to ask about the need for the heart to have support, this topic constituting an essential concern in our research.
