Abstract
In this work the binary and ternary fission of Th, Pb and Pt induced by 12.2 GeV protons has been analysed with a polycarbonate detector. The basic characteristics of the binary and ternary fission of the elements mentioned are given and corresponding values of the cross-sections are determined.
