Abstract

AbstractIn the current decade, the development of information technology (IT) is growing very rapidly. Society as users of public services demands transparency of information and transparency in the bureaucracy. To fulfill this, the government implements e-Government. The Special Region of Yogyakarta is one of the local governments implementing e-Government. Therefore, this study was conducted to measure how the Yogyakarta Special Region government apparatus can adopt Information Technology (IT) to improve the Yogyakarta Special Region Government’s performance. The theory used in measuring government employees’ habits in the Yogyakarta Special Region Government is “The Unified Model of e-Government Adoption (UMEGA).” This theory is a development of “The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM)”, “Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT)”, and “Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2)”. There are some variables that were measured in this study to see the Behavioral Intention of the adoption of Information technology (IT) employees of the Special Region of Yogyakarta’s government.
