Abstract

Objective To explore the availability and limitation of medical simulation teaching to improve medical staffs' clinical skills.Methods The medical staffs were randomly distributed to the traditional team and simulation teaching team.The teaching effect was estimated by the monomial manipulation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation,thoracocentesis,abdominocentesis,bone marrow puncture,indwelling central veins catheters,trachea cannula and using breathing machine through statistical analysis.Results There was no statistical significance in bone marrow puncture,indwelling central veins catheters and trachea cannula between the control and simulation teaching teams.However,the achievement of cardiopulmonary resuscitation,thoracocentesis,abdominocentesis and using breathing machine in simulation teaching teams were significantly higher than the control.Conclusions Medical simulation teaching takes a certain extent effect on elevating the medical staffs' clinical skills.There is value to spread,but has limitation.
