Abstract

Vocal cord dysfunction (VCD) is a functional disorder of the upper airway that can mimic allergic reactions. The Pittsburgh VCD Index (PVCDI) is a validated questionnaire with high sensitivity and specificity that can help distinguish VCD from asthma. We hypothesized that patients with multiple drug allergies would score higher on the PVCDI as compared to patients with no or few drug allergies.
