Abstract

AbstractTaxonomic composition of the Aptian‐Cenomanian flora collected from the Razdolnaya coal Basin, Primorye, is described along with a geological description of sediments containing fossil plants. This is the first report of finding the fossil angiosperms Dicotylophyllum sp. and some indeterminable platanoids in the upper part of the Lipovtsy Formation (Late Lipovtsy floral assemblage), the age of which is determined as the Aptian‐Early Albian. The deposits of the overlying Korkino Group were paleobotanically characterized for the first time.
