Abstract

Abstract This study investigates the utilization of the Python-Control library in contemporary control theory. The Python-Control package, comprising a collection of Python classes and functions, facilitates the comprehensive analysis and design of feedback control systems. Pole placement, a widely utilized method in the automatic control domain for control system design, is particularly emphasized. This paper explores the application of Python-Control in pole assignment, aiming to enhance control system performance. Additionally, the pole assignment method is successfully implemented in a hydro governor model, demonstrating the efficacy of the Python-Control library in practical control system applications.
