Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of CBL, TBL combined with Seminar Approach in pre-service training of clinical transfusion for new recruits nurses. Methods A total of 84 newly recruited nurses in 2014 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group, with 42 cases in each group.The control group adopted CBL teaching method, while the experimental group adopted the diversified stereoscopic training mode with CBL, TBL combined with Seminar.The training effect of nurses in two groups was compared by test results, self-efficacy scale for new recruits and survey on satisfaction for the training mode and the clinical department head nurse of the special tracking inspection and evaluation of the two group. Results The assessment score of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.01), and the self-efficacy scale and the questionnaire survey showed that the self-efficacy and satisfaction of new recruits nurses for the training mode was significantly better than that of the control group, the inspection and evaluation of clinical head nurse for nurses of the experimental group was better than that of the control group (P<0.01). Conclusions The application of diversified stereoscopic training mode with CBL, TBL combined with Seminar to the clinical blood transfusion trainaing can enhance the training effect, ensure blood transfusion safety regulations, and should be widely supported by the head nurse and new recruits nurses.
