Abstract

Objective To study the application effect of pain management combined with relaxation training in postoperative rehabilitation of patients with ankle fractures. Methods Eighty patients with ankle fractures admitted in our hospital from February 2014 to February 2016 were divided into two groups according to the random number table, 40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given pain management combined with relaxation training. Compared the pain degree, ankle function, and nursing satisfaction of the two groups. Results The NRS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group on the day of surgery, on the first day and the second day after operation, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The score of ankle joint function in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (95.00% vs.77.50%), with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion Pain management combined with relaxation training in patients with ankle fracture is effective, which can effectively relieve pain in patients, promote ankle function recovery, improve satisfaction rate, worthy of promotion. Key words: Pain management; Relaxation training; Ankle fracture; Pain degree; Ankle function recovery
