Abstract

In the current information age, people interact with various technologies daily, and education, as a social activity for imparting knowledge and nurturing talents, naturally relies on technological support. The integration of information technology into curriculum and the application of modern educational technology in teaching are gradually changing people's perception and understanding of education. Based on this, the paper examines the application performance, effects, and drawbacks of educational technology in English education. It proposes targeted optimization suggestions with the aim of leveraging the advantages of educational technology to promote reforms in English education and enhance the quality of English education.
