Abstract

The antifield BRST-anti-BRST quantization of Abelian three-form gauge fields is achieved in detail. The nonminimal sector of the antifield BRST formalism appears now naturally. It is shown that the quantization of the massive case implies in fact the BRST or BRST-anti-BRST quantization of Abelian three-form gauge fields coupled to Abelian two-form gauge fields. This mixing-component system preserves in a certain way the reducibility of the nonmassive Abelian three-form gauge fields.
