Abstract
The anisotropy field versus temperature of polycrystalline Nd 15Fe 77B 8 and a “Neomax” magnet has been measured between 77 and 300 K applying the SPD technique. At T ≈ 140 K, a characteristic change has been detected which might be due to a spin reorientation. Additionally, initial ac susceptibility and thermal expansion measurements between 4.2 and 300 K have been performed, showing also an anomaly at this temperature.
