Abstract
This study describes an innovative flap procedure averaging 100 cm2 that allows the treatment of extensive baldness of the frontal area by the 180° rotation of a midline occipital flap with an anchor shape bringing the hairs in place in a natural direction. Top and posterior baldness can then be eliminated in 2 to 3 months using the anchor flap (triple hair bearing transposition flap) for slot correction after using the scalp extension technique.
