Abstract

Paying attention to psychological capital with focus on organizational socialization of personnel has been especially important during recent years. The present research has been carried out by aiming at analysis on relationship among the organizational socialization and psychological capital in personnel at Saderat Bank of Iran (BSI). The methodology of this study is of descriptive type. The statistical population of this investigation includes all personnel of Saderat Bank of Iran (BSI) from the Tehran West Headquarters. The sample size comprises of 144 participants in the current research that they have been measured by means of the organizational socialization questionnaire and psychological capital inventory. The research data were analyzed by means of SPSS software via correlation test. The acquired Cronbach alpha coefficient for the organizational socialization questionnaire was calculated 0.929 and for the psychological capital questionnaire it was computed 0.914. The research findings indicated that the coefficient of correlation among organizational socialization and psychological capital (r = 0.534) was significant at level (p < 0.05) so that as the score of variable of socialization is added, the score of psychological capital is also increased for personnel. The results of research about the significant relationship among organizational socialization and psychological capital, which were presented in this article may provide new attitude for the directors and organizations regarding on the job training and socialization of new personnel and that is this point that they should implement development of psychological capital for new personnel as well instead of paying attention only to information requirements of personnel and submersion of them in information.
