Abstract
The barista vocational education equivalency package C is an innovation in the education equivalency program, which has the potency effect in assisting the national education goals. This research aims to describe the potency of PKBM (Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat) — Community Learning Centers — in organizing the barista vocational education equivalency package C program. This research applied a qualitative approach with the case study research method. The data was collected through questionnaire, structured interview, observation, and documentation study. Then, those data were analyzed through data reduction, interpretation, and conclusion. The results show that (1) based on the location, PKBM in the Jember Regency has the same opportunity to organize the barista vocational program package C, (2) based on the students, millennial-generation students are more interested in utilizing barista skills as a functional skill compared to the previous generations, (3) based on the institution readiness, most of PKBMs are ready to joint venture with course training institution (LKP) rather than organizing by themselves.
