Abstract
The American Institute of Physics has recently been organized through the cooperation of several scientific societies interested in the physical sciences, and the Acoustical Society of America is one of these organizing societies. By invitation of the officers of the Society, Dr. Barton, the Director of the Institute, will explain the organization, purposes, and methods of procedure.
