Abstract
Objective To explore the affecting factors for the detection of RH blood type and to ensure the labs to detect blood type rapidly and accurately by analyzing the methods of detecting RH blood type.Methods RH antigen was detected in the blood samples from 106 852 donators; the samples with negative RH ( D )were screened by normal saline and then re-tested by polybrene and indirect antihuman globulin.Results 316 of 106 852 ( 0.3％ ) donators were RH ( D ) negative,3 of whom had Du subtype.Conclusions Normal saline for screening RH ( D ) negative blood samples,and indirect antihuman globulin and polybrene for confirming RH ( D ) negative can effectively ensure the accuracy of detection of RH blood type and has important significance of blood transfusion safety.
