The additional discussion of Graves of the Early Bronze Age in The Korean Peninsula

Abstract

본고에서는 청동기시대 전기의 분묘에 대한 다섯 가지 논점을 제안하면서 필자의 견해와 함께 앞으로의 자료 증가에 대비하려는 목적에서 작성되었다. 첫째, 직립구연호를 이용한 옹관묘의 시기에 대해서는 여러 의견들이 있다. 논란이 있는 사례들 가운데는 후기로 단정하기 어려운 것 도 있고, 담양 성산리유적의 직립구연호가 옹관이라면 전기의 직립 구연호 옹관의 존재는 인정되어야 할 것이다. 둘째, 현재로서 조기의 분묘는 확인되지 않고 있는데, 신석기시대부터 있어 왔고 청동기시대에 더욱 활발하였던 분묘 축조의 습속이 유독 이 시기에만 없었던 것일까? 이에 대해서는 남한 청동기시대의 개시와 관련이 깊은 중국 동북지역∼압록강유역과 관련된 분묘가 現 在不在일 가능성, 남한 在地의 선택적 수용 등에 의해 이들 지역의 분묘는 탈락되었을 가능성, 현재 확인되기 어려운 다른 형태의 葬法 으로 변화하였을 가능성 등을 추측해 볼 수 있다. 셋째, 전기 분묘의 원류에 대해서는 火葬으로 보이는 습속이 확인된다는 점에서 남한지역과 중국 동북지역과의 관련성을 생각할 수 있으며, 가지무늬토기의 원류와 함께 광주 역동에서 강상묘 출토품과 유사한 이형청동기가 출토된 점에서도 양 지역의 관련성을 엿볼 수 있다. 넷째, 대부분의 전기 분묘는 전기 후반에 해당하며, 전기 전반의 분묘는 극소수에 불과하다. 전기 전반에 분묘가 축조되었음은 인정되지만, 본격적인 분묘 축조 사회의 개시가 전기 후반이라는 점은 변함없다. 다섯째, 전기 분묘의 유적 내 배치양상을 통해 대형주거 한 동과 중소형주거 두 동이 분묘 한 기를 반원상으로 에워싸듯이 배치된 모습을 엿볼 수 있다. 이때 주거군의 성격은 아직 알 수 없지만 전기 분묘에 대한 새로운 배치상을 고려하면서 類例의 증가를 기대해 보고 싶다.The purpose of this paper is to propose five issues about graves of the early Bronze Age. First, there are many opinions about period of jar burial using straight-necked jar. Among the controversial cases, it is difficult to conclude that it is a later period, and if straight-necked jar of Seongsan-ri site is jar burial, the existence of the early Bronze Age jar burial using straight-necked jar should be acknowledged. Second, grave at the time of the beginning of the Bronze Age has not been investigated. In this regard, there is a possibility that grave related to the northeastern region of China~Yalu River, which is closely related to the start of the South Korea Bronze Age, may be discovered in the future. On the one hand, there may be some form of burial that can not be recognized at this time. Third, it is a problem of the origin of graves of the early Bronze Age. Since cremation is confirmed, the relation between South Korea and Northeast China can be considered. In addition, the relationship between the two areas can be seen in the painted pottery and bronze tool. Fourth, most of graves of the early Bronze Age are in the latter half of the early Bronze Age. Therefore, graves are built in earnest from this time. Fifth, the new placement appearance of grave and settlements is confirmed. At this time, I do not know the personality of settlements yet, but I would like to expect an increase in the number of cases.
