Abstract
Helical structures play essential roles in biological systems and the potential physical and chemical properties. The single-stranded and double-stranded supramolecular helical chains are found in six achiral β-alanine-inorganic-acid (β-AIA) compounds and one achiral β-alanine-organic-acid (β-AOA) compound. The supramolecular helical models of those β-alanine-acid compounds are classified into four types. And, the law of supramolecular assembly of helical chains in β-alanine-acid compounds is also summarized.
