Abstract
The beautiful city of Calgary was the backdrop for the meeting of the Canadian Association of Pediatric Surgeons (CAPS) held on September 7 to 10, 2006. Dr David Sigalet was our local host. The meeting was held for the first time in conjunction with the Canadian Association of General Surgeons (CAGS) to facilitate attendance to both meetings and encourage exchange of ideas and techniques. For the second time, the CAPS meeting included a poster sessions that was a joint poster presentation with CAGS during the welcoming reception.
