Abstract

The article examines the course of three rounds of debates organized by the National Republican Committee before the beginning of the presidential race in 2024. Despite the participation of several candidates in the debate and the absence of the former head of the White House on the stage, the winner of the debate, according to national opinion polls, is still D. Trump. It is concluded that this circumstance is an indicator of a leadership crisis that has engulfed the Republican Party that does not change.
