Abstract
Cross-sections of the 19F(n,2n) 18F reaction were measured by the radioactivation method, and determined relative to the cross sections for the 63Cu(n,2n) 62Cu reaction, in order to use fluorine as a 14-MeV neutron flux monitor. The curve of the cross-section vs. the incident neutron energy rose from 43·3 mbarn at 13·5 MeV neutron to 68·4 mbarn at 14·8 MeV neutron.
