Abstract
A kind of universal serial TFT-LCD display terminal with ATmega128L as the 2nd driver is designed and implemented.SPI serial Flash is employed to store multiple sets of ASCII and GB2312 character matrix data and background images.High level display commands from external master controller could be received through RS232 or RS485 standard interface and trigger requested display operations.Actual applications reveal that this terminal could help to reduce display control burden for master controller and could be used as universal information output device for many kinds of microcontroller-based systems.
