Abstract

This work is devoted to the procedure for testing the software of the medical information-measuring system for outpatient ECG monitoring, carried out in the research and production laboratory «FabLab», belonging to the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K. I. Satpayev (KazNITU), Almaty, Kazakhstan. Methods. Software testing was carried out in 2 stages. For the first one, a measuring instrument with known metrological characteristics was used — a KARDi2 cardio amplifier. The obtained measurement results were used as input data for the developed model for minimizing the effect of tissue bioimpedance on the ECG shape. As part of the second stage of testing, the bandwidth of the measuring information streaming channel was determined. Results. As part of the second testing procedure, it was found that the throughput of the developed portable device as part of a medical informationmeasuring system for outpatient ECG monitoring was 181 kb/s. Conclusions. The analysis of the throughput values of the streaming data transmission channel obtained as part of the testing procedure showed that the minimum data transfer rate of a portable device is 10 times higher than the minimum required.
