Abstract
Man, without a doubt, is a key element of the aviation system. Human actions in many cases are the reason of aviation accidents. As modern statistics of the reasons of aviation accidents show, the share of events related to the human factor today averages about 80%, and in most cases we are talking about deliberate violations of the requirements of governing documents and technologies by flight crews. To achieve a reduction in the number of accidents, it is necessary to better understand the role of the human factor in aviation, and apply the accumulated knowledge to avoid and prevent accidents.
