Abstract

Abstract To determine the deicing force of forest fire preventive clothing, modified aided equipment for a universal testing machine was designed. Firstly, the cold situations were analyzed in five clothing climate zones of China. Secondly, the traditional equipment for push-pull force gauges was redesigned for higher accuracy. Thirdly, the outer layer of forest fire preventive clothing was coated by a hydrophobic silicone rubber coating. Finally, the deicing force was tested by a introducing universal testing machine. The results showed that the data of deicing force in different tests had good consistency by introducing a Universal Testing Machine on modified aided equipment.
