Abstract

(Liquid+liquid) equilibrium data for the ternary systems of {water+ethanol+1,1′-oxybis(butane)} and {water+2-propanol+1,1′-oxybis(butane)} at T=(293.15,298.15,303.15,308.15)K have been measured under atmospheric pressure. The experimental results were correlated by using the modified and extended UNIQUAC models. Distribution coefficients and separation factors of ethanol and 2-propanol were calculated and discussed in detail. The temperature influence on liquid-phase regions was analysed.
