Abstract

Many conflicts and crises are characterized by a high degree of irregularity. Insurgent activities for achieving their goals use the methods and forms of irregular combat. The form of action which can effectively counter the activities of the rebels is operations against insurgents (counter-guerilla warfare – special operations of a military nature and counterinsurgency operations, COIN – as a multi-dimensional operations) as actions to respond to crises and conflicts. Insurgent activities, counterinsurgency operations and counter-guerilla warfare have a prominent place in irregular activities. This form of fighting counter guerrilla groups is desirable.
