Abstract

With the advancement in material science field over the years, it has become very essential to work on the materials application to reduce the cost, having better life cycle and thus, increasing the efficiency. The design and analysis of composite car roof panel created utilizing carbon fiber reinforced with epoxy, polyester and PVC foam separately and analysed. The modeling constraints were stresses and deformation. The main objective is to prepare the car roof panel composed of carbon fiber reinforced polymer composite material and investigate its mechanical strength. The 3-D model of automotive roof panel is designed, simulated and analysis was done using ANSYS 21 Workbench and compared with available results.
