Abstract

Temperature dependent ionic parameter studies of a newly synthesized Na+ ion conducting nanocomposite polymer electrolytes (NCPEs): 95[75PEO:25NaPO3] + 5TiO2 where 0 ≤ x ≤ 18 wt%, are reported. The present NCPEs films have been synthesized using a recently developed hot-press method. The some important basic ionic parameters viz. ionic conductivity (σ), ionic mobility (μ), mobile ion concentration (n), ionic transference number (tion) and ionic drift velocity (vd) have been calculated with the help of various experimental techniques. Ion conduction behaviour has been explained by various models.
