Abstract

The effect of temperature on the values of the intrinsic viscosity and swelling degree of poly(methyl methacrylate) macromolecular coils in binary solvents used as eluents for liquid chromatography under critical conditions is studied. It is shown that these values are little temperature-dependent. This circumstance makes it possible to assume that the temperature dependences of retention characteristics are minimally contributed by changes in the dimensions of macromolecules in poly(methyl methacrylate) solutions.
