Abstract

The aftereffect of the magnetic permeability of Co-rich amorphous ferromagnetic alloys is studied as a function of temperature by means of a frequency analysis. A typical bending of the slopes of the permeability spectra is observed, indicating the existence of an upper limit to the activation energy distribution for ordering processes giving rise to the aftereffect.
