Abstract
Stress + longitudinal field induced magnetic anisotropy in CoNiSiB and CoFeSiB (Co-rich) amorphous alloys has been investigated. The direction of this anisotropy may be longitudinal or transverse to the ribbon axis. In alloys with Ni where the direction is longitudinal a reinforcement of this anisotropy has been obtained. This behavior is similar to that obtained for the stress + transverse field induced magnetic anisotropy in CoFeSiB alloys (Co-rich). The effect of the preannealing on the stress + longitudinal induced magnetic anisotropy has also been investigated. This effect is different in the samples with Ni compared to those with Fe content.
