Abstract

The temperature dependence of the optical Second Harmonic Generation Signal has been measured in SrBi2Ta2O9 and BaBi4Ti4O15 through the intermediate phase transition. The experiment indicates that a small polar component remains above this temperature which shows that the transition is ferroelectric-ferroelectric.
