Abstract
Medial patello-femoral ligament acts as a primary restraint to lateral patellar subluxation. The evidence of its rupture in cases of patellar dislocation has led to consider its surgical reconstruction after the first episode. Several technique variations have been proposed considering different types of grafts. The Authors describe surgical details of their arthroscopic medial patello-femoral ligament reconstruction procedure using hamstring tendon.
