Abstract

1. Grouting works during regrouting of high-head concrete dams are carried out by a special technology substantially differing in many parameters from the traditional technology specified for initial grouting of joints. 2. The main purpose of regrouting a dam after several years of its operation under a load is to bring the stress—strain state to the design parameters. 3. The main condition of correct solution of problems of regrouting of dam joints is drawing up a competent professional plan. 4. The basis of the technology of repeated (multiple) grouting of joints having small, supersmall, and nonuniform openings is the use of high-penetrability grouts (HPG technology) in combination (in the case of detected manually uneliminable leaks) with grouts with an adjustable mobility loss time (GAMLT technology). As a consequence of this — the presence of special, quite stringent technological rules of preparing and using such grouts.
