Technological methods for pavement block repairs in road bridges

Abstract

Pavement block is a part of bridge a bridge superstructure. During the service life damage accumulates and there is need to repair. The aim of the article is to discuss the types of pavement blocks and to present the results of a study on the most common design solutions for realisation of the repair works. Factors influencing the choice of construction technology are systematized. Information about novelty formwork solutions and types of equipment for working at heights in Bulgaria is provided. A particular example of a bridge structure is presented and a conclusion is drawn regarding the preferred method of work in our country.
