Abstract

The course innovation on CAD/CAM/CAE of die and moulds was discussed, including the course architecture, teaching methods and the examination. The proportion of project analyzing and practical training in the course contents was increased for cultivation of application oriented talents, and max-layers of the course architecture were constructed in the meantime. Furthermore, a new network-based secondary teaching system and an integrated examination way were constructed. The course reform on CAD/CAM/CAE of mold achieves good teaching results by the teaching innovation and practice. The open and synthetic experiment of die and mould in forming process was introduced in the practical teaching in order to train the practical ability of students for the undergraduate of plastic forming and mould and fully use the teaching resource of the laboratory. It not only carried forward experimental teaching reform, but also brought into play study enthusiasm and initiative of the students and enhanced the design ability of die by many years of open experiment teaching.
