Abstract

The article analyzes the experience of teaching political economy and disciplines developed on the basis of political economy methodology. The factors that determine the demand for political economy on the part of students and the research community are systematized. A brief description of the activities of international associations in the field of political economy and international scientific journals and publications is given. The features and main characteristics of the course “Political Economy” and disciplines developed on the basis of the methodology of political economy taught at Lomonosov Moscow State University for students of economics, as well as for students of non-economic areas and specialties, are considered. Directions for further development of teaching political economy and disciplines based on political economy methodology are outlined.
