Abstract

This study outlines a pedagogical approach aimed at enhancing the proficiency of higher education music students in analyzing and interpreting orchestral and ensemble scores. The primary goals were to cultivate advanced score-reading skills and foster a nuanced understanding of orchestration techniques. Employing a systematic teaching methodology, incorporating theoretical frameworks and practical exercises, yielded noteworthy results. Students demonstrated significant improvements in score comprehension, ensemble coordination, and interpretive depth.
