Abstract

Education has always been highly valued in India. The earliest educational system to emerge in ancient India was the Vedic system. In ancient India, education was intended to educate pupils for either life in this world or life beyond, which is self-realization. The purpose of this essay is to discuss the value of studying the Vedas in raising the standard of higher education. The study of the Vedas continues to inspire people today despite the rapid pace of information creation and application in the realms of science and technology. Vedic education is entirely capable of fostering students' intellectual and moral growth. Vedic education may be used to instil Satyam, Shivam, and Sundaram (truth, goodness, and virtue).
